Ⅱ.Terms

The terms, in plain English.

The deal between your club and us. Short, because a long one would only mean we were hiding something in it.

LAST UPDATED · 31 AUGUST 2026

1. Who this is between

These terms are between you (the person using Loosie, and the club you use it for) and Loosie, which operates loosie.io. Using the app means accepting them.

2. Beta

Loosie is in beta and free. That cuts both ways: you pay nothing and get everything, and in exchange things move. Features change, layouts get redrawn, and occasionally something breaks on a Saturday morning. We do not promise uninterrupted service during beta. When paid plans arrive we will say so clearly and in advance; nothing starts charging you by surprise.

3. Your account

Keep your sign-in details to yourself and tell us if you think someone else has them. You are responsible for what happens under your account. You need to be 18 or over, or have the authority of your club, to set one up.

4. Your club's content

Your badge, your colours, your squad, your photographs, your plays, your ledger. It stays yours. You give us only the permission we need to host it, process it and render it into the cards and pages you asked for. Nothing wider, and it ends when you delete the content or close the account.

By uploading, you confirm you have the right to: the badge and any sponsor logos, the photographs, and the player names and images, including the consents needed where players are under 18.

5. What you agree not to do

  • Upload anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights.
  • Use another club's badge, marks or photographs without permission.
  • Try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service.
  • Resell Loosie or pass it off as your own product.

If a club does any of this we may suspend the account, and we will tell you why.

6. Fundraising, sponsors and payments

Where your club takes money through Loosie, Stripe processes it and Stripe's own terms apply to that payment. We are not a bank, a payment institution or a fundraising regulator: the money is your club's, and so are the obligations that come with it: telling donors the truth about what you are raising for, handling Gift Aid correctly if you claim it, and your own tax and charity reporting. We keep the ledger straight; we do not audit it for you.

7. Availability and changes

We will keep the service running as well as we reasonably can, but we may change, suspend or withdraw features. If we are retiring something your club depends on, you get notice and a way to export what you have.

8. Ending it

You can stop and delete your club at any time from inside the app. We can close an account that breaches these terms. If we ever shut the service down, you will get reasonable notice and a window to export your data.

9. What we do not promise

The service is provided as it is. We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose beyond what the app plainly does. Graphics, tables and ledgers are generated from what you enter. Check the team sheet before you post it.

10. Liability

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow to be limited. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, lost income or missed opportunities, and our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous twelve months, which during beta is nothing.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction.

12. Changes to these terms

We will update the date at the top and flag anything significant in the app. Carrying on using Loosie after a change means accepting the new version.
